I would suggest going to a psychiatrist. They can suggest treatments and therapy. Start by talking to your GP/PCP/Family Doctor first; they can give you a referral and/or do an initial assessment. And no, you’re not going crazy but you are having trouble functioning(what does sanity mean anyway?). Get help so that you can lead a fuller life.

Your best bet is to just face your fear. I suffer from high stress/anxiety/panic attacks as well, they are scary, but you just have to learn to live with them. It helps to talk to someone about it so you can vent your feelings and let some stress out. You can see a doctor and discuss it with them and they can put you on a medication that can help lower your anxiety as well. But definitely start by talking to people.

Another thing to help out is to eat healthy. Make sure to eat banana’s at least once a day as those help your body get into the right feeling. I had a panic attack a few days ago and ate a banana, drank lots of water, and then felt as if nothing happened.

It is scary at first, but you just need to learn how to put up with them and don’t try to fight them away, just let it flow! I hope this helps in some way.
